About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director Services, you will be responsible for strategic, tactical and operational management of our Housing Services group, a tier one Community Housing Provider. Managing a portfolio in excess of 1300 properties, with an active development program in place, you will lead on the transformation of lives through a range of housing solutions. The Housing Services group is on an exciting cusp of growth with an ambitious development plan for the next five years. Your business acumen and passion for making a difference will ensure we achieve our goals, whilst providing our stakeholders such as government, financiers and tenants with confidence and assurance.
In this position you will be enabled and encouraged to think and perform things differently, building on our already unique campus and funding models. We are a leader in integrated housing and care solutions, providing homes for people to age in place with dignity and your entrepreneurial skills will help drive this model further.
Leading a team of 7 Direct reports and a wider team of 48 you will drive the operational excellence required to support our strategic direction and values.
Qualifications and knowledge of the community housing sector including the relevant legislation and compliance regulations will be vital for your success and enable you to hit the ground running.
You will have considerable demonstrated experience in a senior management role with financial responsibility in a complex community services organisation. Your experience is complemented with degree qualifications in Housing, Social Science and or Business Management and further postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
