About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference and oversee evidence based interventions.
As the Allied Health Team Leader, you will guide and support our current practicing Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy staff across the Wide Bay Region. In collaboration with Service Managers, you will have the opportunity to manage and monitor Allied Health programs based on the needs of each residential aged care service.
Welcoming your experience and innovative ideas, you will be responsible for the continuous promotion of wellness and restorative care programs, exercise based interventions and falls prevention. As part of your role, you will advocate Churches of Christ Allied Health programs and initiatives across the region.
During your varied days, you will be required to engage with a range of stakeholders including auditors and external providers. Overseeing Allied Health compliance and accountability, you will maintain accurate Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) documentation.
You are a transformational leader who assimilates seamlessly with your team members and can mentor them to overcome organisational hurdles and achieve shared goals. You are often commended on your enthusiasm, imagination, creativity and the ability to form relationships with a wide variety of people.
Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist;
Applied knowledge of ACFI and accreditation requirements, in relation to the provision of physiotherapy;
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role;
Current Senior First Aid certificate is highly desirable.
