About the role

Every day is new and different for a Clinical Care Coordinator at Warrawee Aged Care Service. During your varied day, you will work closely with the Service Manager in relation to all aspects of the business. This includes but is not limited to quality compliance, human resource management, ACFI maximisation and complaints resolution.

Operationally, you will respond to resident requests regarding activities of daily living and oversee the day-to-day clinical operations. In order to ensure that resident's individual care plan requirements are met, you will liaise with and provide supervision and mentorship to care staff and registered nurses.

Within this full-time position, you will be working Monday to Friday with the occasional relief work for annual and sick leave. You will be based at Warrawee St George and will be required to work one day a month at our Cunnamulla facility. About you

You will be an experienced Clinician (Registered Nurse Level 2) with the ability to provide quality holistic care and operational excellence. You are often commended on your problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills and take pride in your highly developed interpersonal skills. 

Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:

  • Possess a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, and demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity;
  • Strong knowledge of the aged care accreditation system & compliance as well as advanced knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and regulatory requirements for aged care facilities;
  • Extensive experience in an aged care clinical setting.
