    About the role

    As our Assistant Retirement Living Manager you will be assisting with the operational management and delivery of our services and activities. Reporting to the Retirement Living Manager, you will be completing a range of different of tasks, allowing for variety throughout your week. 

    Your major focus will be to assist in the retirement villages' operations, including sales opportunities, asset management, and compliance within accreditation standards, all within the budgetary constraints.

    You will pride yourself on promoting the safety, security and optimal health and wellbeing of residents. Hence, you will develop strategies to address identified needs of our residents and ensure their rights are always maintained.

    There will also times where you will be required to undertake administrative duties such as, reporting, managing correspondence, appointments and meetings.

    About you

    You are an excellent communicator who is committed to providing a high standard of customer service. Due to your exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills you easily engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Well-developed prioritisation, leadership and problem-solving skills are some of your strengths.

    Ideally you will have:

    • Solid experience at a site operational level within a customer driven environment, ideally in Retirement Living;
    • Degree qualifications in Business or relevant field;
    • Experience in sales, marketing and/or communications is a benefit, however, not essential;
    • Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry regulations, such as the Victorian Retirement Villages Act 1986, and quality standards in Retirement Living is highly desirable;
    • Computer literate and efficient in using Microsoft Office products;
    • Current driver's licence and National Police Certificate.
