Highlighting the importance of this role 

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the provision of activities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care, which enhances the psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being of residents and clients. You will be joining our fun, family friendly team and be supported by passionate and caring leaders wanting to make a difference in the lives of our residents. 

In this role you will: 

  • Assist with development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities; 
  • Support residents to participate in activities; attend to the personal care needs of clients/residents as required; 
  • Assist with the regular review and improvement of activities; 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities including evaluation of individual resident programs and plans. 

  

What you can bring to the team 

You are a dynamic and motivated individual with a strong desire to engage with and brighten the lives of our much-loved residents. Whether it be a concert at the facility or a day out on the bus, your main goals are to motivate, inspire and involve the residents. You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. You have a fun-loving nature along with compassion and understanding of individual needs. 

Ideally your experience and qualifications include: 

  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care,  
  • Good communication skills with the elderly and team members; 
  • Similar work experience in an aged care setting.
