About the role
In this nursing role within our Intensive Family Services program, you will be responsible for the delivery of holistic and strength-based services to improve the functioning of vulnerable families and the safety of children. Each day will be challenging and distinct, however, your everyday jobs will include:
Conducting joint home visits with families to assess the developmental and health requirements of children and provide referrals;
Actively supporting families to address the health and development needs of their children;
Liaising with family support services in the local area to provide support and advice to other community organisations;
Contributing to the development of children and family case plans using specialist knowledge and assessment information.
A dedicated and experienced clinician, you can juggle competing priorities to achieve results.
With excellent communication skills, you liaise comfortably with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You have a comprehensive knowledge of legislative and service requirements and promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
To be suitable for this position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:
A current AHPRA registration as a RN with a current practicing certificate;
Demonstrated experience as a RN with experience in Community development;
Postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family/ Community Health or Community Services (ideally);
Experience working with vulnerable and marginalised groups in the community sector (desirable).
