Maintenance Officer

Churches of Christ –  Gracehaven Aged Care, Bundaberg

About the Role:

Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team at Gracehaven Residential Aged Care, working within our Residential Aged Care Home; you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our seniors living facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll use your skills to carry out repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, while also supporting grounds upkeep, this may include tasks such as mowing, pruning, fertilising etc.

About You

Our ideal candidate is

Essential:

• Comfortable working within an Aged Care Environment
• Has a strong knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety
• A minimum 12 months' experience as a Handyman, Maintenance or Trade.
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
• Hold a current drivers licence
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable:

• Knowledge or experience using a computer-based maintenance management system
