About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be an essential part of our close‑knit team, providing high‑quality clinical care and meaningful support to our residents. At Homesteads Aged Care, you’ll enjoy working in a warm, homely, and small facility where you’re never “just a number.” You’ll be supported daily by our on‑site Care Coordinator and a Facility Manager with a strong clinical background - ensuring you always have guidance, collaboration, and leadership by your side.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and updating care plans
- Conducting baseline and focused assessments
- Leading and mentoring team members (including night shifts)
- Collaborating with residents, families, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure high-quality care
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Skilled in medication management, wound cares, resident assessments and updating care plans
- Previous aged care experience
- Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
- Valid Australian work rights (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
