As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll be at the heart of our care team, providing hands-on support that enriches residents’ physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing — all underpinned by our Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.
About the Role
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, meals, social activities and outings
- Support the development and review of individual care plans and complete accurate documentation and charting
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report changes to nursing and care leadership
- Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Contribute to a safe, clean, comfortable and welcoming environment
- Carry out tasks delegated by Registered and Enrolled Nurses
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive, values-driven care team
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience providing direct care within an aged care environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Intermediate computer skills (e.g. Outlook, internet-based systems)
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)
Desirable
- HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
