Environmental Service Worker – Residential Aged Care

Location: Bundaberg or Gin Gin, QLD

Are you passionate about supporting older Australians and creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment? We’re looking for enthusiastic Environmental Service Workers to join our team in our Residential Aged Care facilities at Bundaberg or Gin Gin – you pick which service you’d prefer, or you can do a mix of both.

About the Role

In this diverse and hands-on role, you will support the facility across kitchen, dining, laundry and cleaning services. Your responsibilities will include:

Kitchen & Dining

• Assisting with meal preparation
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
• Supporting meal service, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays

Laundry

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and resident clothing
• Ensuring the laundry and equipment are kept clean and hygienic

Cleaning

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within residential areas
• Supporting a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and Punctual
• Commitment to safety, quality and organisational values
• Experience in Aged Care highly desirable

Mandatory Requirements

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)
