About the Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference? Fair Haven Aged Care in Hervey Bay offers the opportunity to work in a stunning semi‑rural setting across 40 acres, with cooling breezes, walking paths and abundant birdlife. Our 78‑bed home provides respite, dementia, palliative and pastoral care, just minutes from beaches, cafés, shops and a thriving local community.

We’re seeking passionate Casual Personal Care Workers to join our team and help create a warm, welcoming home for our residents.

What you will be doing

In this rewarding role, you will support residents with their daily needs, including:

• Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meals
• Supporting residents’ emotional wellbeing and meaningful social engagement
• Maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
• Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and homelike environment
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

What you will bring

We are looking for team members who are caring, dependable, and aligned with our values.

You will ideally have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (or working towards)
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian work rights (sponsorship not available)
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach
• Alignment with our values of Integrity, Compassion, Excellence & Courage
