Are you passionate about creating delicious, nutritious meals that bring comfort and joy? We’re looking for a full-time Chef to join our dedicated team at Homesteads Aged Care in Nerang. In this role, you’ll lead our kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards, manage stock, and supervise a supportive team of kitchen staff and cleaners.

This isn’t just cooking—it’s about creating experiences that feel like home. You’ll have the opportunity to use your culinary skills to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, providing meals that nourish both body and soul.

Essential:

• Proven experience in commercial food preparation and cooking
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or relevant trade qualification)
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian work rights

Desirable:

• 2+ years’ experience as a commercial cook
• Experience supervising and training kitchen staff
• Confidence in communicating with supervisors and suppliers
