Permanent Part Time Opportunity

The Opportunity

Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our welcoming 78 bed Aged Care service in Hervey Bay. Nestled in a peaceful semi rural setting, our service provides residential, respite, dementia and palliative care.
In this role, you'll deliver quality clinical care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll be supported by an on site Care Coordinator and an experienced Service Manager, ensuring the guidance and collaboration needed to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and updating care plans
  • Conducting baseline and focused assessments
  • Leading and mentoring team members 
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality care

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans
  • Previous aged care experience is desirable
  • Current First Aid, CPR Certification, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
