We are seeking an experienced Applications Team Leader to lead the day‑to‑day management of our applications and systems environment. Reporting to the Applications Manager, this role provides both technical and people leadership, ensuring business applications across our vital community services - including Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living and Home Care – remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

About you and your new opportunity:
You’ll be working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors and IT colleagues to resolve complex issues, manage upgrades and releases, and continuously improve application services that directly support frontline care and community services.
Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Applications team, ensuring priorities are managed and services delivered on time
Provide technical oversight and resolve complex application issues in line with ITIL best‑practice frameworks
Manage application upgrades, system enhancements and release activities, including testing and user acceptance
Lead, mentor and develop a team of applications specialists, fostering collaboration and continuous learning
Oversee vendor relationships and service level agreements to ensure performance, uptime and quality standards are met
Drive continuous improvement, ensuring systems support organisational strategy, compliance and safety
Support senior leaders in building a collaborative and positive team environment.
What you will bring to our team:
You’re a supportive and solutions‑focused leader with a strong background in enterprise applications and a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to support positive social and community outcomes.
Ideally you will have:
A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Significant experience supporting enterprise systems such as Clinical or Client Management systems including AutumnCare, MediSphere, Riskman, and Sandwai
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams
Strong problem‑solving skills and experience managing complex application issues and change
Knowledge of application security, compliance and service delivery best practice
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
Well-developed organisation and time management
A collaborative, team-first mindset with attention to detail
Desirable experience/knowledge with:
Prior work with not-for-profits, or other health or aged care providers
ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL frameworks
Possess or willingness to obtain:
Possess a current National Police Certificate – or the ability to acquire.
Possess Working with Children (Blue Card) – or the ability to acquire.
Possess Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) – or the ability to acquire.
