We’re seeking a HR Advisor – Visa & Compliance to lead employment visa governance and workforce compliance across a large, mission-driven aged care and NFP organisation supporting some of Australia’s most vulnerable communities.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of migration, regulation, workforce sustainability and care quality — where getting it right truly matters.
What you’ll do
Own employment visa governance for a large, diverse workforce
Lead right-to-work, contract and compliance assurance in a highly regulated environment
Partner with leaders to support safe, compliant workforce supply
Translate complex legislation into practical, auditable processes
Strengthen systems and automation to reduce risk and manual effort
Lead and support a small employee compliance team, ensuring clear priorities, high performance and consistent workflow delivery
What you bring
Experience in employment visas, workforce compliance or regulated sectors
Knowledge of Aged Care, Community Services or Not-for-Profit environments (highly regarded)
Strong understanding of legislative, audit and risk obligations
Confidence engaging senior leaders with clarity and credibility
A values-led mindset — firm on compliance, human in approach
