About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and caring Environmental Service Worker to join our team at Brig-o-doon Aged Care located in Acacia Ridge, QLD. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas
• Laundry duties (washing, drying, folding and distribution)
• Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation and service
• Supporting dining room setup and pack down
• Following infection control and safety procedures
• Work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly

About You

• Reliable, positive and team-orientated
• Experience in cleaning, hospitality or similar (aged care a bonus)
• Good communication skills
• Able to multitask and stay organised
• Full Australian work rights

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, laundry, hospitality, or kitchen hand roles (aged care experience is desirable)
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook, internet use)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities
• Hold valid Australian work rights
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)

Desirable

• Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualification
