About you and your new opportunity:
The Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager – Legal and Governance provides high‑level support to the Executive General Manager and the Legal and Governance Group, helping to keep priorities running smoothly. The role also supports Board and Council administration and follows through on Executive Group actions.
You’ll be a valued member of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing to work that aligns with the mission, purpose and values of Churches of Christ.
You will be:
Providing expert diary, inbox and priority management for senior executives
Coordinating Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
Assisting with organising events such as the Annual General Meeting
Supporting governance frameworks, Board appointments and compliance requirements
Preparing and managing high-quality documents and presentations
Handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
Anticipating issues, escalating risks early and supporting competing priorities with calm confidence
What you will bring to our team:
Extensive experience supporting senior executives at a high level
Demonstrated experience in governance and secretariat support for Boards and Committees
Exceptional diary, inbox and priority management skills
A strong understanding of governance, compliance and confidentiality
Advanced skills in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy
Sound judgment, discretion and professionalism at all times
Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills
