Environmental Service Worker

About the Role: 

Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference in people’s everyday lives? We’re seeking reliable and caring Environmental Service Workers to support our Warrawee Aged Care Service in St George QLD, helping to create a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Serving meals and setting up / cleaning dining areas, trolleys and trays
• Following food safety, infection control, and workplace health and safety guidelines
• Laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linen and resident clothing
• Cleaning and maintaining residential areas to required hygiene standards

About You 

You are someone who takes pride in your work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment in an aged care setting.

• Previous experience in cleaning, catering, hospitality or laundry services (aged care experience desirable)
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach with residents and colleagues
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable

• Certificate II in Cookery or similar qualification
