Churches of Christ - Buckingham Gardens Aged Care

About the Role:

Churches of Christ Queensland are on the lookout for a casual cook at our Alexandra Hills service.  This role will see you working within our site assisting with food handling, food preparation and basic cooking duties as well maintaining a clean kitchen environment and record keeping.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Great opportunity for cooks wanting to take a step back 
• Training provided to Kitchenhand applicants wanting to step up
• Experience in commercial food preparation and cooking
• Has a strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable:

• One years' experience as a commercial cook
• Experience with supervising and training junior kitchen staff and trainees
• Confidence in communicating with supervisor and suppliers
