About the Role

Join our welcoming team at Oak Towers Aged Care Service, nestled in Melbourne's leafy suburb of Oakleigh. We're looking for a friendly, organised, and caring Administration Assistant who will play a key role in supporting our residents and staff. This is more than just an admin role—it's an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives every day.

As an Administration Assistant, you'll be the go-to person for smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for enquiries and building positive relationships with residents, families, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating schedules for meetings, interviews, training, and appointments.
  • Managing information and documentation in line with accreditation standards, while providing general admin support to keep everything running seamlessly.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • A reliable, organised professional with strong time management skills.
  • Certificate III in Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Australian work rights (we're unable to offer sponsorship).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Aged Care or Home Care sector.
  • Availability for full-time hours—but we're flexible! Part-time or school-hour arrangements can be considered.

Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.

About Us:

We are one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations, with a legacy of care and compassion spanning over 140 years. Through our faith-based mission, the church and organisation work together to provide holistic support across family services, community housing, retirement living, home care, and residential aged care.

Employee Benefits:

Salary sacrificing, generous annual leave, an Employee Assistance Program, a supportive work culture, and discounts at a range of retail outlets.
