About the Opportunity

An exciting leadership opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse to join Arcadia Residential Aged Care Service as Care Manager.

Centrally located in the leafy suburb of Essendon, just 9 km from Melbourne's CBD, this role offers the chance to step into a senior clinical leadership position where your expertise will make a real difference. You'll be supported by a collaborative, close-knit team and an organisation committed to quality care and strong values.

About the Role

As Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centred care. Working in close partnership with the Service Manager, you'll lead, inspire and mentor the clinical team while ensuring excellent clinical outcomes, compliance and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading resident care planning and driving clinical quality initiatives
  • Reviewing aged care funding data for accuracy and relevance prior to submission
  • Monitoring nursing practice and clinical programs to ensure best practice care
  • Overseeing resident documentation in line with electronic systems and organisational requirements
  • Ensuring clinical care is delivered in accordance with professional standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements

About You

You are a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in a leadership role. You enjoy mentoring and developing others, building strong relationships, and ensuring residents feel safe, valued and cared for.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience leading clinical care within an aged care environment
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in aged care or an acute clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and compliance
  • Sound understanding of AN‑ACC
  • Experience educating, mentoring and motivating clinical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to obtain (or currently hold) a National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening
