Human Resources Advisor

HR Advisor - About the role

You will join a committed HR Business Partnering team supporting leaders and employees across Australia, during an exciting period of organisational growth and transformation. Working closely with the wider People & Culture function, you will deliver responsive day-to-day HR services, provide clear advice and coaching support to leaders, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen our culture, uplift capability and enable sustainable workforce growth. This role offers meaningful exposure across the full HR lifecycle, with a strong people centred approach underpinning everything we do.

In partnership with your HR team members, you will:

  • Support leaders with case management and conflict resolution, ensuring we are delivering a fair process, aligned to policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely advice and coaching on employee relations matters, adopting a proactive, people-centred approach to uplift engagement and support positive outcomes Maintain strong governance standards through accurate case documentation and effective file management in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Interpret Awards, policies, and legislation to ensure compliance, consistency and fairness across our national operations.
  • Collaborate across our P&C colleagues on culture, corporate and transformation projects to deliver meaningful organisational impact.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and streamlining of policies, processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with our Industrial Relations team on complex HR matters.
  • Support broader initiatives across learning and development, workforce planning, retention, remuneration and benefits and organisational development.

About You:

You may be an early-career HR professional or someone ready to take the next step in their advisory journey. You are seeking a role that offers genuine opportunities to broaden your experience, work alongside supportive colleagues, and build capability during a period of significant organisational change. You bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field.
  • Recent experience in an HR advisory, generalist or specialist role.
  • Confidence and capability in managing cases and conducting investigations.
  • Proven understanding and application of Fair Work legislation and employment law.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders, coach leaders and influence outcomes across our teams nationally.
  • An understanding of aged care, youth / children, or health sectors (desirable but not essential).
