We’re looking for a passionate Cook to join our caring team at Oak Towers Aged Care in Oakleigh Vic — someone who takes pride in creating delicious, home-style meals that bring joy to our residents every day.

As our Cook, you’ll play an essential part in daily life at Oak Towers. You’ll prepare and cook nutritious meals, maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene, and help create a welcoming dining experience that feels just like home for our residents. This role also includes light record keeping and assisting with kitchen operations to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in commercial food preparation and cooking - ideally in Aged Care

• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices

• A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain

• Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not able to offer sponsorship

Bonus points for:

• At least one year of experience as a commercial cook

• Confidence in supervising or mentoring junior kitchen staff

• Great communication with supervisors and suppliers
