About the Role

As our Cook, you’ll play an important role in preparing quality meals and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help ensure residents enjoy nutritious, delicious meals every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements
  • Assisting with food preparation and safe food handling
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures and completing basic records
  • Assisting with ordering and stock control
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a positive dining experience

About You

You’re organised, reliable and enjoy working in a role where your work truly matters with ideally at 1 years’ experience as a commercial cook as well as

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cleaning practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook and internet use)
  • A national police clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)
