We are seeking a Cook to join the team at Kolan Gardens Aged Care, located in Gin Gin, a rural town in the Bundaberg region. Enjoy a relaxed country lifestyle, short commute times, and a friendly regional setting, while being just a drive away from Bundaberg’s amenities and coastline. 

In this role, you will prepare nutritious, home-style meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents, while supporting a safe and welcoming kitchen environment. 

About the Role 

• Prepare and cook meals to meet dietary requirements 

• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene 

• Complete basic kitchen record keeping 

• Assist with stock control and ordering 

• Work closely with the hospitality team 

About You 

Essential: 

• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety 

• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain 

• Valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship available) 

Desirable: 

• 1+ years’ cooking experience in aged care (highly desirable) 

• Basic computer skills 

• Confident communicator
