Churches of Christ is seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Worker to join our team at our Brig-O-Doon Residential Aged Care facility. This casual position plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for our residents.
As an Environmental Service Worker, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen, dining, laundry, and cleaning services. You will work collaboratively with a friendly, multidisciplinary team to ensure our residents receive high-quality care in a clean and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
Support meal service, including setting up and cleaning dining rooms, trolleys, and trays.
Carry out laundry tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linen and residents’ clothing.
Maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of resident rooms and shared areas.
Uphold high customer service standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Work in alignment with organisational policies, safety standards, and the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
You are someone who takes pride in providing quality service and enjoys working in a role that directly supports the wellbeing of older Australians.
You will bring:

The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook, web browsing).
Previous experience in kitchen operations, cleaning, laundry, or aged care.
National Police Check
