About the Role:

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking casual Environmental Service Workers to join our team at Moonah Park, our 98-bed Residential Aged Care home located in the leafy Brisbane suburb of Mitchelton—just a short 10-minute walk from both Oxford Park and Mitchelton train stations.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the daily operations of our hospitality and environmental services teams. Your work will contribute directly to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents through a variety of duties including food preparation and service, cleaning, and laundry support. You’ll also have opportunities to be cross-trained across multiple service areas, allowing you to grow your skills and provide flexible support where it’s needed most.

About You

Are you someone who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and caring environment for others? Whether preparing meals, maintaining hygiene standards, or keeping spaces spotless, you’re passionate about supporting your community and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Our ideal candidate has:

Essential:

• A strong understanding of safe food handling, hygiene practices, and workplace safety standards across kitchen and cleaning settings
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer sponsorship
