Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking a reliable and friendly Environmental Services Worker to support our Residential Aged Care home in Clive Burdeu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

About the Role

This role is primarily focused on cleaning and laundry duties; however, you may also be required to work as a kitchenhand when needed. You will support daily operations across cleaning, laundry, kitchen, and servery areas, helping ensure services are delivered safely and with care.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with food preparation and meal service

Setting up and cleaning dining areas and equipment

Cleaning kitchen, communal areas, and resident rooms

Supporting food safety, infection control, and hygiene standards

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused
• Friendly, respectful, and customer-focused
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene
• Flexible with shifts and duties
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a National Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Australian work rights (sponsorship not available)
