About the Role


Travelling throughout Bundaberg and beyond, you will join a dynamic team of Home Care Workers to provide our clients with assistance and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community setting. You will be assisting residents in daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs.

In this varied and rewarding role you will support our clients by:

  • Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other domestic duties
  • Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping
  • Providing personal care including; showering, dressing and continence care
  • Assisting clients with medication (qualified candidates)
  • Support to develop a consumer driven care plan
  • Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment


About You


We are looking for people who want to make a difference in the lives of our clients. You have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.


Essential criteria:


  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Experience working in aged care &/or providing excellent customer service
  • A current driver licence and fully insured & reliable vehicle for work purposes
  • Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including household tasks and manual work
  • Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
