Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Workers to join our Fair Haven Service, a 78‑bed Residential Aged Care home in Hervey Bay. In this varied role, you’ll support our kitchen team with food preparation and service, maintain clean dining spaces, and help ensure a safe, hygienic environment within and around the kitchen.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Setting up the dining room and supporting a positive mealtime experience
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Ensuring safe food handling and hygiene procedures are followed

About You

You’re passionate about food, teamwork, and serving your local community.

You will bring:

• Experience in commercial food preparation, food service, and/or cleaning
• Strong knowledge of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety
• A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Availability across day and afternoon shifts
• Valid Australian work rights (We are unable to Sponsor candidates for this position)
