About the Role

We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Asset Officer to join our Housing Asset Management team and support the effective management of our housing portfolio.

In this dynamic and varied position, you will play an important role in ensuring our housing facilities and assets are well maintained, compliant, and ready to meet client needs. This role will include administrative responsibilities, contractor coordination, onsite property assessments and delivery of asset management systems.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Managing maintenance ticketing system, ensuring requests are actioned efficiently and appropriately.
  • Coordinating outgoing work orders, supporting timely and quality service delivery.
  • Monitoring contractor compliance documentation, ensuring required records, licences, and safety documentation are up to date.
  • General asset management administration, including data updates, reporting, and assisting with planned maintenance activities.
  • Undertaking onsite asset assessments, inspections and general property related tasks as required.

 

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management, asset management, construction, or a related field.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with confidence using digital systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, solution focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles or housing maintenance practices.
