Seeking a part-time (3 days/week) Ministry Operations Director to lead and oversee its administrative systems, office operations and ministry support processes.

Whitehill recognises that God has uniquely wired, gifted, and positioned every leader. Therefore, the role responsibilities below will have some flexibility to ensure the successful applicant is effectively utilising their spiritual gifts.
Position Responsibilities:
General Staff Duties - Attend and contribute to all relevant leadership team meetings, service planning meetings and prayer meetings. Be engaged in any leadership training and conferences as made available by the Lead Pastor
Administrative Systems - Utilise Xero accounting software to reconcile ministry expense forms and generate invoices. Help maintain individual personal records in Elvanto (e.g. roll, attendance, newcomers, membership, baptisms, etc).
Office Operations - Attend reception enquiries (phone, email or physical) on allocated days, directing all enquiries to appropriate people or information as needed. Maintain visitors' log book and coordinate site management needs (e.g. tradespeople). Ensure the foyer is clean and tidy to give visitors to provide a positive first impression. Manage supplies for staff's stationery needs and order supplies for the Cleaner or Kitchen Coordinator as requested.
Ministry Support - Manage Whitehill’s Safe Ministry Training process and Blue Card compliance. Create and manage the weekly Whitehill E-news (Mailchimp). Coordinate the distribution of food hampers for people in need with the Hamper Ministry Team Leader. Assist with organisation and materials for special events (e.g. Weddings & Funerals). Arrange flowers/gift deliveries on request by pastoral staff.
Facility Hire - Oversee all aspects of managing external and internal facility hire bookings. Prepare quotes and hire agreements in line with existing policies and procedures. Maintain and update the facility hire bookings calendar. Arrange access for hirers (keys, supervision, alarms).

Remuneration and other conditions are generally according to Churches of Christ Qld guidelines.
