Sunnybank Church of Christ is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, vibrant, and welcoming congregation that seeks to grow in faith, love, and service. The church aims to provide spiritual guidance supporting the members on their faith journey and ensuring that the church fulfills its God-given ministry.

The Pastor Role
After 14 years of faithful service our current pastor is retiring, and we are looking for a Pastor who can lead our team of part-time staff and provide spiritual leadership to the church. For the right person, this will be a rewarding and meaningful opportunity to serve God and His people. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the gospel and the lost, a heart for community and a commitment to the vision and values of our church.

• Providing spiritual and visionary leadership
• Preaching and discipleship
• Leading the staff

About You:

• Has a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Willingness to embrace the church’s vision and statement of belief
• A strong servant heart and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with people of diverse ethnic, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
• Appropriate theological training.
• Must have the right to live and work in Australia.
• Hold a current Australian driver’s license.
• Possess a Blue Card or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Possess a National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Willing to become endorsed as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ.

Additional Information:

• This role is full time fulltime with flexible working arrangements, salary and conditions negotiable based on the recommendations of Churches of Christ.
