Quality & Compliance Coordinator

Permanent, Full-time Opportunity 

Churches of Christ, a leading not-for-profit organization, invites you to take the lead in coordinating quality and compliance systems, while driving advice and support for key frameworks in risk, quality, and compliance.

About the Role

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and reviewing quality risk and compliance management systems, ensuring that policies, supporting documentation and operational processes accurately reflect legislate compliance requirements.
  • Researching, interpreting and providing advice on relevant legislative and accreditation requirements.
  • Mapping documentation to standards for accreditation/licencing, and coordinating the support and training of document management processes.
  • Coordinating data requirements relating to audit findings and reviews; coordinating the development of best practice auditing tools, associated quality checks and reporting requirements.
  • Developing training materials to support the delivery of training specific to the Governance, Risk and Compliance Management systems.

 

About You 

You will be someone who has strong working knowledge in legislation and regulatory frameworks and requirements. As someone who thrives on making a real difference and implementing compliance and change, you have a keen eye for detail. Being a deadline focussed individual, you can think on your feet and deliver results with ease. You have experience interpreting complex legislation and governmental guidelines, and communicating these to the relevant stakeholders.

As the Quality and Compliance Coordinator, ideally your experience and qualifications include:

  • A degree in Quality Management or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience;
  • Experience writing documents in a formal setting including writing policies, procedures, work instructions, guides, and other formal documentation;
  • Knowledge of legislative, compliance requirements, regulatory frameworks and requirements for Quality standards and continuous improvements;
  • 5 years quality, compliance accreditation and/or licensing experience.
