About the Role:

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a permanent part time Registered Nurse in Bribie Island and Caboolture Home Care. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide in-home clinical care, supporting elderly clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.


This position involves regular travel between clients' homes, which is a key part of the role. A valid driver's license and a fully insured, comprehensively covered vehicle is required (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle).

 

About You

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a meaningful role in community care where your skills are valued and your impact is visible? You are confident in conducting clinical assessments, developing and reviewing individualised care plans, delivering evidence‑based care, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable working autonomously, you also enjoy providing guidance and clinical support to care staff while building strong, trusting relationships with clients and families.

 

What You'll Bring

As a Registered Nurse in Home Care, you will be a key source of clinical expertise for a dedicated team of care staff. Working independently in the community, you will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, client‑centred care while supporting and mentoring others to maintain best‑practice standards.

Essential:

  • Passion for aged care and delivering safe, supportive care
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Currently hold, or willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
  • A valid driver's license and a fully insured, comprehensively covered own vehicle.
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor

Desirable:

  • Previous clinical experience in the Aged Care Sector
  • Currently hold, or willing to obtain a current NDIS check
