About the Role

Churches of Christ is seeking a Part‑Time Registered Nurse to join our welcoming team at Little Mountain Aged Care Service, a 96‑bed residential aged care home on the Sunshine Coast, 6 km west of Caloundra CBD. We provide person‑centred care across respite, palliative, and pastoral services, offering the best of coastal and country living. In this role, you'll contribute to high‑quality clinical care within a supportive environment where your work truly matters.

About You

As our Registered Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting residents with professionalism, warmth, and compassion. You'll thrive in a homely setting where your skills are recognised and valued. You will be supported daily by an on‑site Care Coordinator and a Facility Manager with strong clinical expertise, ensuring guidance, collaboration, and the leadership you need to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and updating care plans
  • Conducting baseline and focused assessments
  • Leading and mentoring team members (including night shifts)
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality care

About You:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans
  • Previous aged care experience is desirable
  • Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
