These positions are based in region Qld, located in Stanthorpe. Are you prepared to relocate with the financial assistance of Churches of Christ?

On top of the relocation asstance, enjoy RN Sign On Bonus. Churches of Christ are offering a generous Sign on and Retention cash bonus of up to $8000.  

You will be eligible for the following cash bonuses: 

  • $1000 on sign on - paid after third fortnight
  • $1500 after 6 months
  • $2500 after 12 months
  • $3000 after 24 months. 

For part-time employees, this amount will be paid on a pro-rata basis based on the ordinary hours of work during the period

This role is based in our 101-bed service in the town of Stanthorpe. Located in the Granite Belt Region, Stanthorpe is renowned for its production of apples, stone fruits, fresh vegetables, and wine. Due to the mountain ranges Stanthorpe also features picturesque landscapes and rolling hills. What you can bring to the team

You are a compassionate health care professional able to provide care with empathy and kindness. Your attention to detail will ensure that you are effectively monitoring the progress of the residents and administering medication or providing referrals where needed. Your strong communication skills will enable you to understand and communicate with not only your residents, but also their families and a broader care team. 

As a Registered Nurse you will:

  • Provide direct patient care, including providing medications and interventions.
  • Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and monitor bespoke care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident health status and progress and make referrals as needed.
  • Educate families about health conditions and medications.
  • Provide guidance and support to our team of dedicated care workers.

1 Night Duty Position: 7 days per fortnight. increased night duty $ rate.

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • Current registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner. Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • A National Police Check or ability to obtain.
  • Active CPR CERT or willingness to update.
