About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operations of Gracehaven Aged Care. You will oversee clinical care, workforce management, financial performance, and resident outcomes, ensuring the service consistently delivers high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of service operations, ensuring high standards of care
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legislative requirements
- Manage financial performance, budgets, and operational targets
- Build strong relationships within the Bundaberg community to support occupancy and reputation
- Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive workplace culture
- Drive continuous improvement and a strong focus on safety and quality
About You
You are a capable and values-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic aged care environment and is passionate about delivering excellence.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) or relevant postgraduate qualifications in health or business administration
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, including leadership in aged care or healthcare
- Demonstrated experience managing operations, budgets, and service performance
- Strong knowledge of aged care standards, funding models, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve outcomes
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous improvement
Compliance Requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet Responsible Person obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024
