Service Manager – Gracehaven Aged Care (Bundaberg, QLD)

About the Role

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operations of Gracehaven Aged Care. You will oversee clinical care, workforce management, financial performance, and resident outcomes, ensuring the service consistently delivers high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of service operations, ensuring high standards of care
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legislative requirements
• Manage financial performance, budgets, and operational targets
• Build strong relationships within the Bundaberg community to support occupancy and reputation
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a positive workplace culture
• Drive continuous improvement and a strong focus on safety and quality

About You

You are a capable and values-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic aged care environment and is passionate about delivering excellence.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) or relevant postgraduate qualifications in health or business administration
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, including leadership in aged care or healthcare
• Demonstrated experience managing operations, budgets, and service performance
• Strong knowledge of aged care standards, funding models, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve outcomes
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality care, safety, and continuous improvement

Compliance Requirements

• Current driver’s licence
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to meet Responsible Person obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024
