Service Manager – Palms Aged Care 

Location: Ingham, QLD | Permanent Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a dedicated team, providing high-quality care and services to our residents at Palms Aged Care, a welcoming 50-bed residence nestled in Ingham’s tropical paradise with a touch of country charm.

About the Role

As our Service Manager, you’ll take the lead in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. You’ll manage the daily operations of the facility — driving excellence in care, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring we meet both regulatory and financial performance standards.

You’ll play a pivotal role in the local community, building trusted relationships and promoting our service as a place where residents thrive and families feel supported.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
  • Managing clinical, operational, and financial outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Building strong community connections to maintain occupancy and engagement
  • Fostering a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement

About You

You have strong leadership experience in preferably in aged care or health administration. You bring operational know-how, strategic thinking, and a genuine love for supporting others — both residents and staff alike. You'll bring: 

  • Current AHPRA registration or relevant qualifications in health/business administration
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience, including recent leadership in aged care
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and quality systems effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A current National Police Check or a willingness to obtain one
  • Australian Work Rights - Sponsorship not currently being offered.
