We're seeking a skilled Support Specialist to deliver tailored support to children, young people, families, foster and kinship carers, and staff. This is a unique opportunity to influence lives through trauma-informed, culturally inclusive care and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate educational and therapeutic programs
• Provide direct support, case management, and after-hours assistance
• Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities
• Guide and train staff to enhance service delivery
• Build strong networks with community partners and stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Essential:

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or 5+ years equivalent experience
• Applied knowledge of child protection and trauma frameworks
• Experience supporting children and families with complex needs
• Proven ability to deliver culturally inclusive practices
• Valid driver's licence and ability to obtain required checks (Blue Card, Police Check, LCS screening)

Desirable:

• Understanding of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012
• Experience in service quality improvement
