Due to an internal promotion and continued growth across our organisation, we are seeking a passionate and proactive Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People Services team at Churches of Christ. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across the organisation to deliver high-quality, end-to-end recruitment support while helping shape talent attraction strategies that support our mission and values.

About the Role

As Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles while partnering with Hiring Managers to provide best practice recruitment guidance and support.

You will take a proactive approach to sourcing talent, building pipelines, and driving recruitment outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Talent Acquisition function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment support across multiple business areas
  • Proactively source and engage talent through search strategies and talent pipelines
  • Monitor recruitment progress and ensure timely movement through the hiring process
  • Support attraction and advertising initiatives to strengthen candidate engagement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Talent Acquisition
  • Support and mentor other members of the Talent Acquisition team

About You

You are a relationship-focused recruiter with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

You will also bring:

  • Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
  • Comfortable using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology platforms.
  • Well-developed problem solving and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Australian Work Rights (sponsorship not available for this role)
  • Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
