The Talent Partner – Optimisation role will be our go to on workforce reporting, working confidently across a range of HR and People systems and turning complex data into practical insights, whilst improving our processes to optimise work practices.
This is not a traditional Talent Acquisition or HR advisory role. It is a People Systems, Data and Optimisation role, focused on ensuring workforce information is trusted, reporting is meaningful, and HR systems are used effectively.
This is a hands-on role where you will:
Produce and maintain workforce and people reporting, including trend analysis across the employee lifecycle.
Work directly in HR systems (we use Aurion) to extract, validate and improve data quality.
Review reporting requests to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and efficient.
Translate workforce data into clear insights for business leaders.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve system use.
What you bring to the team:
Proven experience working with HR systems across the employee lifecycle.
An ability to analyse workforce data and identify trends and insights.
The confidence to ensure reporting requests is clearly defined and data driven, to reduce manual work.
A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with an ability to build, adapt and improve our ways of work and reporting.
An advisory approach to stakeholder management and ability to operate autonomously.
What will help you succeed:
Strong understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle data
Ability to analyse large workforce datasets across multiple platforms and work streams.
Aurion experience (highly desirable)
Microsoft Excel Advanced (Essential), Power BI or other reporting tools (desirable)
Experience in complex or people-heavy environments such as health, aged care or education
Confidence in managing a wide variety of stakeholder requests and timelines.
Smarter use of data and resources in how/when we report.
Process improvement mindset focused on reducing manual effort
Condense complex data into story / visual representations for different audiences.
Investigate and fact check data for accuracy and consistency.
If you enjoy being in HR / People systems, fixing problems, simplifying reporting and making workforce data genuinely meaningful, this is the role for you!
