Join our team as Service Manager and lead two community-centred aged care services in coastal North Queensland, helping to shape the future of quality care across the region.

Our aged care services across Cardwell and Ingham, in North Queensland, have a combined 105 residents with strong clinical leaders in place to support you to build a person-centred and high performing team.

This is a senior leadership role reporting to our Regional Manager to drive clinical excellence, strong financial outcomes, and a positive, values‑led culture.

Please note: The two sites are approximately 40 minutes apart and regular travel between them is required.

About the role:

You will lead the end-to-end operational, clinical, and financial performance of both services. Working within our Positive Well-being Model of Care, you will champion high‑quality, person‑centred care while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and compassion.

In this role you will:

  • Travel regularly between the two sites, which are approximately 40 minutes apart.
  • Lead and embed contemporary clinical and care practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and maintain accreditation.
  • Monitor and improve clinical and business performance measures.
  • Manage operational and financial performance to meet budgets and targets.
  • Lead and develop your workforce, uplift capability development, and focus on a positive team culture.
  • Champion and build trusted relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Drive occupancy and strengthen the service’s reputation locally.

About You

You are a confident, values-driven leader with demonstrated experience in aged care or health service management. You bring clinical or operational knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead teams through change, always putting residents first.

You will bring to the role:

  • Qualifications in health, business or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proved leadership experiences in aged care or similar environments.
  • A working understanding of accreditation standards, funding models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, performance targets, and operational planning.
  • The experience to lead, communicate and engage with stakeholders, peers, community, residents, and your team.
