We are seeking an experienced and passionate Aged Care Quality Lead to join our Seniors Living team and support excellence across residential aged care, home care and retirement living services within our Central West location.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional who thrives on continuous improvement, regulatory excellence, and supporting teams to deliver safe, person-centred care.

Working closely with Regional Managers, Service Managers and clinical teams, you will play a key role in strengthening compliance, embedding best practice, and supporting services through accreditation and continuous improvement activities.

About the Role

As the Aged Care Quality Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership, coaching and expertise to support services in achieving and maintaining compliance with aged care quality and accreditation standards.

You will analyse clinical and operational data, identify trends and risk areas, and partner with leaders to implement sustainable improvements that enhance care outcomes and service performance.

This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to influence quality outcomes across multiple services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor management and clinical teams in quality systems and compliance
  • Analyse service performance, audit outcomes and clinical trends
  • Identify risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across services
  • Assist services during accreditation visits and regulatory reviews
  • Support implementation and evaluation of care models and best practice initiatives
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to organisational quality systems and documentation management

About You

You are a collaborative and solutions-focused professional with strong aged care quality and compliance experience. You bring excellent interpersonal skills, a practical approach to problem solving, and the ability to influence and support teams through change.

You will also have:

Essential

  • Degree or Diploma qualification in a relevant field or extensive quality experience
  • Strong knowledge of residential aged care and home care accreditation standards
  • Demonstrated experience achieving and maintaining compliance across services
  • Clinical experience within the aged care sector
  • Experience implementing and managing quality systems
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate qualification in Health Management or Quality
  • Leadership experience within aged care
  • Experience leading quality improvement projects and initiatives
