About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified home care worker.  The position is responsible for providing home care clients with assistance, support and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community.  Areas that you will be covering, depending on your base location, could include Caloundra to the Mooloolah Valley, Maleny to Mountain Creek, and Noosa Heads to Cooroy.

The duties include:

  • Provide general domestic assistance; assist in the preparation and cooking of in-home meals; ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist clients with medication
  • Provide social support to clients by providing transport, assisting with social outings, shopping etc.
  • Providing personal care assistance to clients for example showering, dressing and toileting

What we're looking for

This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference - Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.

  • Certificate 3 in Individual support (Aged Care) with Medication competentency or willing to obtain (for qualified Home Care Workers)
  • A current driver's license
  • A National Police Check.
  • First Aid & CPR
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle that is suitable ad available to be used for work purposes
